Virtual Plus offers affordable, convenient care options

Our Virtual Plus plan is a great option for getting low-cost, high-quality care virtually, with in person care when you need it. With Kaiser Permanente virtual care, you’ll be cared for by our doctors and clinicians – the same ones who care for you in-person at our medical facilities. On this plan, you’ll start most of your care with a virtual care visit1 at no charge.

Starting your care with a virtual option gives you the lowest costs and greatest convenience. At your virtual visit, your Kaiser Permanente doctor or clinician will provide you with the care and prescriptions you need or will refer you to in-person care. When you need in-person care and are referred by a clinician your costs will be lower. Some in-person care doesn’t need a referral for the lower cost, including your first visit with an in-network doctor and preventive care. Care received outside of the network is generally not covered except for urgent and emergency care.

You can enroll in our Virtual Plus plan if you live or work in King, Kitsap, Pierce, Snohomish, Spokane, or Thurston counties (Service Area Map). The plan features our Virtual Plus-Connect network, with providers from Washington Permanente Medical Group, one of the highest-ranked medical groups in the state3, offering over 60 specialties.
